Installing Zigpoll On Legacy Post Purchase Pages
How to: Keep Zigpoll running by adding it to the additional scripts section of your post purchase pages.
Shopify has announced their intention to move all stores to the new Checkout Extension version of their Checkout pages by August of 2025.
If you're not ready to switch that's fine with but Shopify has stopped supporting automatic script tags so you will need to take an additional step. Follow the details below:
- Install the Zigpoll App via the Shopify App Store
- Go to your Shopify Dashboard. Click Settings → Checkout → Scroll down where it says Order Status Page additional scripts
- Go to the Zigpoll dashboard and click Installation
- Copy the code labelled Manual Embed Code
- Paste the code in the Additional Scripts input box on your Shopify dashboard. Press Save.
Once you have made these changes you are ready to go! You can still manage all of your surveys directly from the Zigpoll dashboard.
